I love this jacket! I’m 5’9 and my body type is like a THICC milkshake, I have a few extra curves. I have long arms and a long torso. Trying to find jackets that are long enough in the arms and do not look like a crop top are harder than you may think! The sleeves on this jacket go down to my hand, and for my long arm girls you know how exciting this is! I was pleasantly shocked at how soft the “leather” is! It actually feels real. Due to the softness of the material it’s not super crunchy/loud “leather” which I appreciate because I don’t want people hearing me waddle from a block away. I ordered an XXL my first go around and it was tiiiiight. Fat guy in a little coat; Chris Farley tight. I exchanged it for a 3X and it’s definitely on the bigger side. I could wear a hoodie or sweater underneath. There seemed to be quite a size variation between the XXL and 3X. I have a Mossimo drape front “leather” jacket from Target that is about 10 years old and it is an XXL and that jacket fits me a bit looser than this jacket did in the XXL (maybe I got a random smaller cut one) I like my clothes on the baggier side so I will stick with the 3X. For reference, I’m a size 16 in ON skinny jeans and vary anywhere between an XL-2X in shirts depending on the brand. Thanks to the line backer shoulders my mama gave me, sometimes jackets can be difficult because they pull too tight and that was not the case with this jacket! Also, there is an ever so slight flare at the hip which I really liked because it allows me to zip it without having any issues around my plumper middle. My only small complaint is that the sweatshirt liner only goes down a little further than half way. Now I Likely wouldn’t zip this portion only but I would prefer if it went down a bit further. Overall great jacket for the price!! It doesn’t look like your wearing a cheap fake leather jacket! Go order one!
