Devyn I tried 2 separate sizes of these shorts. The waist band seemed to go down in the size but the rest of the shorts are baggy and unflattering. I had a lot of excess fabric in the front crotch area and right below my butt. Very unflattering. So if your smaller or petite I'd stay away.
