Way too small for age sizing

My child is very petite and got her a size 8 and shes almost 10 in July. I need to return and get at least 2 sizes up. Rather odd bc shes very petite. It didn't even cover her belly button! Ridiculous for a young child. Def go two sizes up.

Dont go buy age size

I rarely write reviews but this one I had too. After reading all the reviews I figured let's buy it. My daughter is a skinny 10 year old. So obviously I had to look thru reviews first cause its online ordering needed to get it right the first time and I didnt. Many say buy up 1 size cause they run small so I ignored it and got her for a 10 year old this shirt fit me. Dont get me wrong its beautiful but now to rebuy it in a smaller size
