I had to send the first one back because one of the snaps just came apart - after only a week or two of wearing it. I have the replacement and am using it but am somewhat ambivalent. Here are the PROS: My favorite color (a peachy pink), and very warm. CONS: Very poorly made. Part of the reason it is warm, aside from the padding, is that it is made out of what feels like a nylon bag. So the coat doesn't breathe and you get warm real fast. There is no placket for the snaps where the coat folds OVER onto the bottom of the snaps. Consequently, because the sizing is "off" and the coat is a bit too tight, it pulls at the snaps in the tight places and it looks bad. Zipping it is very difficult because of the missing placket. I suppose it would cost more money to construct it properly so that the snaps had a proper "seating" to them. Consequently, if you do not pull the zipper tightly away from the "fabric" it will get caught and eat the fabric, which is really annoying. I like to just zip and go, and I can't do that. Every time I have to zip it up, it is a production. It is very cold here right now, and I have to walk the dog 4 times a day, which means getting in and out of the coat 4 times a day also - at least! With regard to the SIZING, I am well under the "top" measurements given for the 2X, but it is too tight in the hip area, but ok in the shoulders. There is no shaping to this thing. It SHOULD be an "A-line" but it is more straight up and down. I would say that if you are crazy about the peachy pink color and you don't have a lot of money to spend on a coat, and if you are a 2x toward the TOP of the measurements in the hip area, you should buy a 3X instead. I am keeping this coat because (1) It is my favorite color and matches my other clothes; (2) it was affordable; and (3) it is warm enough. So I gave a star for each one of these attributes. If I didn't REALLY NEED a peachy pink coat to match some other things, I might not have kept this coat. Just know that for $60 you're not getting a high-end coat, so adjust your expectations accordingly - and size up for greater comfort.
